New Delhi: Two terrorists surrendered today in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama after an encounter broke out in Lelhar area of the district, police said.

The security forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation at Lelhar in the Kakapora area of the district on Friday night following information about the presence of terrorists there, the officials said.
They said the search operation turned into an encounter after the hiding terrorists opened fire.
The encounter had started at around 8pm on Friday, Kashmir Zone police tweeted.
After a night of stand-off, the two terrorists surrendered with their AK rifles, the officials said.
