Present regime presents opportunities to girl child; Hilal Jan on National Girl Child Day

Srinagar, Jan 24: Applauding the efforts of present government led by BJP, Hilal Jan party’s J&K chief spokesperson for Minority Morcha said that the present regime was doing every kind of effort to provide support and opportunities to the girl child in India.

Jan, on the eve of National Girl Child Day in India said there was the need to spread awareness about the rights of girl child, which include their proper nourishment, health care and education.

He said BJP government in Centre has adopted several schemes for the welfare of girls and improve the condition of girls.

“Several campaigns and programs such as Save the Girl Child, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, free or subsidised education for the girl children, reservations for women in colleges and universities have been initiated to reduce this discrimination,” Hilal Jan said.
