“Exchange of fire took place between army troops and infiltrators. Of the five infiltrating militants, there were killed while two others may have gone back or may be hiding in the area,” a defence official said, adding that in the operation four soldiers also sustained gunshot wounds and were evacuated to the hospital.

The army, however, didn’t issue any official statement over the infiltration bid but sources confirmed that the operation was still going on to rule out possibility of presence of any other militant in the area.
