Winter Theatre Workshop for Children concludes at JU
Jammu, Jan 03–Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu organized the culmination function of 7 Days Online Children Theatre Workshop organized for the children of teaching and non-teaching employees of the University of Jammu.This workshop was in the series of children workshops organised by the Department of Students Welfare in summer vacations. The theme of the workshop was SPACE EXPLORERES 2021 in which children acted as space astronauts and aliens and presented their experiences of the space. What they explored and what they missed while in space also were enacted by them. The workshop was conducted by an eminent children theatre expert from New Delhi,Ms Sukriti Khurana.
Prof Manoj Dhar,Esteemed Vice Chancellor,University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.Prof Dhar congratulated all the participants and parents for the performances on the final day of the workshop.Prof. Jasbir Singh, Dean Students Welfare welcome guests, participants and their parents. Prof. Anupama Vohra, Chairperson Campus Cultural Committee presented the vote of thanks. The workshop was coordinated by Ms Ifra Kak,Cultural Officer (SW) and was technically supported by Mr Arif Paul,Technical Asst (SW).
