SSP Ramban distributes COVID-19 safety kits among BPL families

RAMBAN, DECEMBER 29: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban Hasseb-Ur-Rehman today distributed COVID-19 safety kits provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs among the poor families here at district police Lines.

Dy. SP Headquarter, Rajinder Singh Chib, Dy. SP DAR, Waqar Bhat besides several officers of police department attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, the SSP informed that the police department has distributed 465 kits containing Digital Thermometer, Masks, Sanitizer, Oxymeter, Face Shields and Disposable Gloves among the BPL families of the district.  He further said that the distribution of the kits has been ensured in their respective police station areas.

 He also impressed upon the beneficiaries to provide the same meters to people of their localities so that they can also avail the benefit from these medical equipment.

Beneficiaries were also sensitized about the COVID-19 SOPs and other instructions issued by the Health department from time to time to prevent spread of COVID-19 infection.

Earlier, a demonstration session was also conducted by the experts to sensitize the beneficiaries about use of digital meters and other material provided them.
