Seeks timely payment of wages; strict action against non-performing officials

DODA, DECEMBER 28: District Development Commissioner, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today reviewed the key indicators under implementation in the district under various Rural Development Department schemes here at a meeting of   the RDD Officers.

At the outset,  Assistant Commissioner Development, gave a brief on the progress made by the RDD Doda under various schemes and sectors which includes MGNREGA, PMAY, FTO generation, completion of works taken up, registration, sanctioning and geo-tagging of PMAY houses etc.

The DDC directed the BDO’S to ensure timely payment of wages in favour of the job card holders, besides asked them to take strict actions against the non performing officials without any fail.

The DDC also directed the BDOs to complete the targeted works on priority basis so that the supplementary approval of the works shall be accorded in favour of the Panchayats and wards.

While assessing the progress under PMAY, the DDC directed the BDOs to ensure reduction in the gap between the Registration of PMAY houses and houses sanctioned with verified accounts so that the first installment was extended in favour of the beneficiary.

The DDC directed the RDD to make concrete efforts to meet the set targets well before the end of the current financial year.

The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah, SDM’S, CPO Doda, ACR Doda, besides all BDOs.
