KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 05: Under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, a significant voter awareness programme was organized in the remote area of Nigeen Nad Kund in Kulgam.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness among the Scheduled Tribe (ST) population about the importance of voting and their active participation in the democratic process.
The event was part of the ongoing efforts to ensure that every section of society, particularly those in far-off areas, is well-informed about their voting rights and responsibilities.
Participants were educated by SVEEP nodal officer and other officers on the significance of their vote, how it contributes to strengthening democracy, and the role of each individual in shaping the future of their region and the country.
