Students Shine in Tehsil-Level Programme, Win Top Honors

MANDI, AUGUST 15, 2024 – The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mandi, under the dynamic leadership of Principal Smt. Anju Rishi. The programme commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the national anthem presented by the students.
Smt. Anju Rishi, Principal of GHSS Mandi, hoisted the national tricolor, igniting patriotism among the staff and students. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the collective efforts of the school community.
The students and staff then proceeded to attend the Tehsil-level programme at Helipad Ground, Rajpura Mandi. The institution’s students showcased their talent by participating in a patriotic skit, securing the first position. The skit, prepared under the guidance of dedicated teacher Smt. Jasvinder Kour Dutta, was a testament to the students’ creativity and dedication.
Additionally, a squad of 22 girls participated in the event, clinching the third position. The Tehsil Administration Mandi awarded the trophy to the contingent commander and certificates to all participants. The students’ outstanding performance was congratulated by the staff members and Head of the Institution.
This celebration not only marked India’s independence but also highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing talented and patriotic individuals. The students’ achievements serve as a shining example of the institution’s dedication to excellence.
