Sopore, 13 August 2024:
The full dress rehearsal for Independence Day Parade -2024 celebration was held at Khushal Sports Stadium Sopore in which Sub Registrar Sopore Shri. Dr. Showkat Ahmad Bhat-JKAS unfurled the national flag, inspected the parade and took the salute at march past.
SP Sopore Smt. Divya D-IPS along with DySP DAR Sopore Shri. Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal-JKPS, Tehsildar Sopore Shri. Sheikh Tariq, SHO Police Station Sopore SHO Tarzoo and other officers of Sopore Police, Security Forces and Civil administration were also present on the occasion.
The parade was commanded by Insp. Jan Mohammad. The march past was presented by the contingents of District Police Sopore, J&K Armed police, CRPF, JKHG and Students from the different educational institutions of PD Sopore.
Besides, many colourful cultural programs were also presented by the Students of various educational institutions of Sopore.
