Healthcare Outreach in Karnah: G.R. Baig Memorial Trust’s Free Medical Camps Serve Hundreds

Karnah: G.R. Baig Memorial Trust, known for its commitment to raising health awareness, organized free medical camps across various areas of Karnah. These camps saw expert doctors examining hundreds of patients and providing them with free medicines. A significant number of elderly people, children, and women participated in these camps and benefitted from the services.

On Sunday, a free medical camp was inaugurated by the Trust’s Chairman, Ishtiaq Ahmad Baig, at the Premier Health Center in the Line of Control area of Teetwal. The Chairman of the JK Welfare Society, Sheikh Majid, and senior journalist Peerzada Sayeed from Karnah were also present at the event. Around 300 patients were treated in this camp, and free medicines were distributed among them.

On Monday, another free medical camp was organized in the Budwan area of Karnah, aiming to provide free treatment to patients in regions lacking medical facilities. Approximately 200 patients were treated in this camp, where they also received free medicines and medical advice.

The patients praised the efforts of G.R. Baig Memorial Trust, highlighting that due to the lack of medical facilities in the area, people face significant challenges, and such camps provide much-needed relief to the poor. The patients appreciated the expert doctors for their thorough examination, accurate diagnosis, and valuable advice. The free distribution of medicines during the camp was also commended.

The Chief Patron of G.R. Baig Memorial Trust, Fatima Rasool Baig, expressed gratitude to SDM Tangdhar, Zafar Ahmad Lone, and Dr. Farooq Qureshi, BMO Tangdhar, for their support in facilitating the event in this remote area.
