*August 09:* “`As a part of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, District Police Kupwara lead by SSP Kupwara, Shobhit Saksena-IPS and Addl. SP Kupwara, Gh Mohd Bhat-JKPS, conducted a plantation drive today in the premises of DPO and DPL Kupwara.
The drive, themed “Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam,” is being carried out across the district to honour the police martyrs who have laid down their lives in the line of duty to protect the unity and integrity of the country.
