Police seizes 16 tractors ,05 tippers and 01 JCB in Budgam

*August 09:* “`In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Budgam have seized a total of 16 Tractors, 05 Tippers and 01 JCB which were involved in the illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals in the first week of August 2024.

This proactive approach to curb illegal mining has been actively taken up by all the Police Stations of District Budgam. Along with the Mineral Department, Budgam Police realised fines to the tune of lakhs of rupees against illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals.
