SRINAGAR, AUGUST 06: In continuation to the 78th Independence Day celebrations, a seminar cum cultural event was on Tuesday organised by Cultural Unit Kashmir, Department of Information and Public Relations J&K at MPML Higher Secondary School, Baghi Dilawar Khan Srinagar.
The event provided students a platform to highlight the developmental dimensions of the country under the vision ’Viksit Bharat’, in sync with the government’s vision to transform the country into a developed nation by 2047.
Earlier, the program kick-started with the National Anthem sung by the students of MPML Higher Secondary School while the artists of Shahkaar Cultural Society presented a thematic skit and song.
Addressing the gathering, Nikhat Mir, Principal MPML Higher Secondary School appreciated Cultural Unit Kashmir, DIPR for providing a platform to youth especially students to showcase their talent.
She emphasized that these celebrations develop patriotism among youth towards the nation.
AECO Cultural Unit DIPR, Syed Shakeel Shan encouraged the participating students for their love and honour towards the nation. He advised the students to come forward and join hands with the departments and organisations who promote art and culture on broader platforms.
At the conclusion mementoes and certificates were distributed among the participants.
