People from all walks of life march together in the lead-up to the Independence Day 2024
BARAMULLA, AUGUST 06: In a spectacular exhibition of patriotism and unity, the Baramulla district came alive with vibrant Tiranga rallies held across the district ahead of the Independence Day 2024.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa led a vibrant tiranga rally from DPS Baramulla, which saw an enthusiastic participation from a large gathering of students, teachers, district officers, officials and local citizens.
The rally was accompanied by a signature campaign where the attendees pledged to hoist tricolor in respect of our freedom fighters and dedicate themselves to the development and progress of India.
Similar such rallies were held at different tehsil headquarters including Boniyar and Watergam where people from all walks of life including students, teachers, government employees, local citizens united in their patriotic spirit and commitment to celebrating national pride.
In Watergam, Senior Superintendent of Police Sopore, Divya Dev led an electrifying rally which passed through the main market of Watergam, and school children, teachers and local citizens participated in it spreading the message of unity and patriotism.
