DC flags-off Rally from HSS Nadihal
BANDIPORA, AUGUST 06: In a vibrant display of patriotism and community spirit, the District Administration Bandipora today organised a mega Tiranga Rally, as part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ and in run upto 78th Independence Day celebrations.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman flagged-off the Tiranga Rally from Govt. Higher Secondary School Nadihal Nadihal, which marked a significant celebration of India’s national identity and showcased the unity and pride of the local community.
The Rally, which commenced from GHSS Nadihal and traversed through main market Nadihal finally culminated at GHSS Nadihal.
The rally saw enthusiastic participation of officers from District Administration, police, and students from various schools with participants proudly waving the tricolor, reflecting the deep-rooted national pride among the people of Bandipora.
ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi Pandit, ASP Sandeep Butt, ACD Irfan Bahadur, and Principal Higher Secondary School Nadihal along with teachers also participated in the tiranga rally emphasising the importance of national unity and the Indian flag as a symbol of freedom and democracy.
The event received widespread support from local schools and the public contributing to its success. The Tiranga Rally not only celebrated the nation’s identity but also served as a reminder of the collective strength and harmony that binds the country together.
ADC Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandit, said that the rally was a part of a series of activities leading up to Independence Day celebrations, aiming to foster a sense of unity and pride among the citizens.
