DDC Bla chairs DLSCC meeting Committee Clears 31 Cases, Sanctions Rs 52.22 Lakh Among Militancy Victims

BARAMULLA, APRIL 23: A meeting of District level Screening cum Co-ordination Committee (DLSCC) was today held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar.

On the occasion, the committee cleared 31 cases. Out of the cleared cases, 06 cases were cleared for cash compensation among which Rs 24 lakh at Rs 1 lakh each were sanctioned.

Also 04 cases were cleared for appointment under SRO 43. Moreover, 06 death cases were cleared by the committee among which Rs 06 lakh were approved whereas 11 cases pertaining to property damage were also cleared among which Rs 21,37,600 were sanctioned.

03 injury cases among which Rs 85,000 and 01 missing case for which Rs 1 Lakh was also cleared during the meeting.

The eligibility including qualification of the applicants was also taken into account while deciding the appointments cases. The Reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases. All the necessary guidelines as per SRO-43 were also kept in view.

Meanwhile, Re-verification and dependent certificates in some cases were sought during the meeting.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Mohammad Ahsan Mir, District Information Officer Mudassir Hussain, Accounts Officer Showkat Ahmad Khan, various Officers from Police, Army and CID among others attended the meeting.
