KATHUA, JULY 22: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Dr. Rakesh Minhas chaired a District Capex budget 2024-25 review meeting held in the DC office complex today.
At the outset of the meeting, CPO Kathua asked each BDO to complete the estimation of all projects at the earliest so that administrative accords and subsequent tendering of all the projects and plans can be completed at earliest possible time.
The DC said this year focus of Capex Plan was to make substantial development assets, especially in the Health and Education Sector and timely execution of the works will help in achieving tangible goals.
The DC asked the CPO to identify locations one in each block for new handpumps in consultation with respective BDOs. He further asked the BDOs to keep budget of Rs 50000 out of BDC grants for the repair of defunct handpumps.
The DC further directed BDOs to draft plans related to Ground water and PDD projects in consultation with respective departments so that proper allocation of funds besides their completion can be achieved in current fiscal.
Among others XEN REW, BDOs, and other district officers and officials attended the meeting. ‎
