Srinagar, June 23, 2024- The BJP Kashmir Unit has announced a series of programs at the party headquarters in Srinagar to pay tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee.

The BJP Kashmir Unit paid tributes to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee across all districts of the Kashmir Valley, with the main program organized at the BJP Headquarters, J-53 Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar. BJP leaders, in their speeches, praised Dr. Mukherjee, highlighting that he was the first to advocate for “Ek Vidhan, Ek Pradhan, Ek Samvidhan” (One Legislature, One Leader, One Constitution).

Program Incharge Bilal Parray stated, “We encourage all citizens to actively participate in these programs and support our journey towards a prosperous and inclusive India.”

**BJP Announces Several Key Programs in Memory of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee**

1. **Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Anniversary Observances (23rd June and 6th July):**
– Booth-level events to honor Dr. Mukherjee’s legacy.

2. **’Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Tree Plantation Program (23rd June to 6th July):**
– Tree planting activities inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s campaign, involving public institutions, schools, colleges, and NGOs.
– Emphasis on large-scale tree plantation and public awareness.

3. **Plastic-Free Campaign under ‘Clean India, Healthy India’ (23rd June to 6th July):**
– Focused efforts to eliminate plastic use and clean water sources.

4. **Mann Ki Baat Broadcast (30th June, 2024):**
– Collective listening sessions at all booths.
– Honoring individuals mentioned in the broadcast from respective places.
