Today the 23rd of June 2024, Bharatiya Janata Party District Srinagar Unit paid glowing tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his 71st. Balidan dewas. In this regard a function was organized at BJP District Headquarter, Jawahar Nagar in which the dynamic leader and founder member of BJP was remembered. In the function all District srinagar BJP caders participated which include Shri Ashok Bhat, District President Srinagar, Dr. Ashok Koul, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Mir, both district Vice Presidents, Mr. Mudasir Bazaz, and all constituency and Morcha Presidents alongwith their teams .Miss Saba Ali, District Media incharge cordinated the programme and is also incharge of various programmes to be held till 6th July, the birth day of Dr. Mukherjee. She is being assisted by youth leaders Mr. Huzaif and Mr. Rayees in smooth conducting of these programmes. Mr. Bilal Parray, Senior leader and Kashmir inchage for programmes on Dr Mukherjee was chief guest on the occasion.
An exhibition on Dr. Mukherjee’s life was also held showcasing the life of the beloved leader and his contribution for the nation building. It’s aim was to make the youth of the nation aware of his contribution.
Shri Ashok Bhat, District President while throwing light on the life of the leader said Dr. Mukherjee was a nationalist leader of highest diginity. He was minister in the first cabnit of Pandith Nehru. But resigned from the ministery not compromising the facts and ideology. He was an academician, politician and founder of various Organizations that include BJP. He sacrificed his life not compromising nationalism and truth.
