Srinagar, May 18: In a significant development, the Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) on Saturday secured first position in the a day long seminar themed “Hamara Samaj Hamari Zimadariyan” organized by Anjuman Nusratul Islam at Islamia Higher Secondary School, Rajouri Kadal, Srinagar.
The event witnessed participation from 16 prominent schools across the Valley and the students of participating schools showcased the intellectual prowess and social responsibility of the young minds.
Kamila Shameem from GVEI delivered a speech that captivated the audience and judges alike and later she was declared first position holder in the seminar.
The seminar was adjudicated by an expert panel comprising Dr. (Prof.) G. M. Khan, Ex-Vice Chancellor of SKUAST, Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, Principal of Islamia Oriental College, and Er. Abdul Majeed Mir. The judges lauded the participants for their insightful presentations and depth of understanding on societal responsibilities.
Kamila’s speech stood out for its eloquence, depth, and clarity, earning high praise from the judges.
The management of GVEI has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Kamila Shameem for her outstanding achievement.
“Her success is a testament to the high standards of education and holistic development fostered at GVEI,” Chairman GVEI Muhammad Yousuf Wani said.
He said the whole management of the school was proud of Kamila’s accomplishment.
“Her dedication, hard work, and passion for societal issues reflect the values we strive to instill in our students,” Chairman GVEI said.
He said that such recognition serves as a motivation for all the students of GVEI to engage actively in societal responsibilities and continue striving for excellence.
The seminar provided a platform for young scholars to voice their perspectives on societal issues, encouraging them to become conscientious and responsible citizens.
