DODA, MAY 15: On the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, a team of officers of district administration today inspected the cleanliness and sanitation standards in Associated Hospital Government Medical College Doda.
The team comprised Dr. Tanveer (MS AH GMC Doda), Mukesh Kumar (AEE R&B), Arshad Ahmed (AEE PHE), Amir Qazi (Treasury Officer Thathri) and Umar Anayat (District Epidemiologist).
During the visit, the team thoroughly monitored the drainage system, overall sanitation and the management of biomedical waste (both solid and liquid) within the premises of AH GMC Doda. The inspection aimed to assess the current standards and identify areas needing improvement to maintain a hygienic environment in the hospital.
Following a detailed examination, the team gave several recommendations to enhance the biomedical waste management protocols in the hospital. Their suggestions focused on improving waste segregation, disposal methods, and overall cleanliness practices to ensure a safer and healthier environment for both patients and staff.
This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and healthcare services at AH GMC Doda, reflecting the ongoing efforts to provide better medical facilities and care to the community.
