ANANTNAG, MAY 15: A mega Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme was organised at the world famous tourist destination Pahalgam to raise awareness about the importance of voter education and participation in the electoral process.
The program organised under the guidance of District Election Officer Anantnag, SF Hamid and was spearheaded by the Chief Executive Officer Pahalgam, Sub-divisional Magistrate Pahalgam, Nodal Officer SVEEP, Youth Service and Sports and Information and Public Relations Anantnag.
The program began with the administering of voters’ pledge to the participants. Later, an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) rally was held from Nunwan to Sadu Padaoo.
The intention of this program was to raise awareness among the masses for electoral participation. Notably, the Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency is going to polls on 25th May.
