Coalition of Activists and NGOs Lead Comprehensive Search and Rescue Efforts in Gandabal Boat Tragedy

A coalition of dedicated social activists and NGOs have united in a collective effort to search for the missing bodies of the victims of the tragic boat capsizing incident at Gandabal. These distinguished individuals and organizations have selflessly devoted their time and resources to aid in the recovery operations and provide support to the affected families during this difficult time.

Led by Dr. Touseef Ahmed, Chairman of Kashmir Concern, the team of activists includes prominent figures such as Rouf Illahi from Atwass Group of Humanity, Sheikh Firdous Ali representing Rehmatan Lil Almeen, and Tariq Patloo of Jannats Mission Kashmir. Together, they have coordinated their efforts to ensure a comprehensive and organized search and rescue mission.

 

In addition to their search efforts, these activists have been instrumental in providing essential aid and support to the families of the victims and the rescue workers involved in the operation. They have been actively involved in distributing food, water, and other necessary supplies to those involved in the search, as well as offering comfort and assistance to the grieving families.

 

Dr. Touseef Ahmed expressed his deep concern for the missing victims and their families, stating, “It is our moral obligation to do everything in our power to locate and retrieve the missing bodies of the Gandabal boat capsizing incident. We are committed to supporting the affected families and ensuring that no effort is spared in this mission.”

 

Rouf Illahi, representing Atwass Group of Humanity, emphasized the importance of solidarity and cooperation in times of crisis, saying, “Only through unity and collaboration can we overcome the challenges we face. We stand together in solidarity with the victims and their families during this tragic time.”

 

Sheikh Firdous Ali, from Rehmatan Lil Almeen, highlighted the resilience and strength of the community, stating, “In the face of adversity, we have seen the true spirit of compassion and humanity shine through. Our collective efforts will bring hope and healing to those in need.”

 

Tariq Patloo of Jannats Mission Kashmir echoed these sentiments, adding, “As social activists, it is our duty to stand up for those in need and provide support in times of crisis. Together, we will work tirelessly to ensure that the missing bodies are located and returned to their loved ones.”

 

The combined efforts of these dedicated social activists and NGOs serve as a beacon of hope and solidarity in the face of tragedy. Their unwavering commitment to the search and rescue mission and their compassionate support for the affected families exemplify the true spirit of community and altruism.

Teams from SDRF,NDRF,Police ,Army,CRPF,Civil Administration and locals are also playing their part .
