Baramulla, Mar 8: A 65-year-old woman, identified as Khazri Begum, was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Mattipora Singpora on Friday afternoon.
According to the reports reaching to news agency Kashmir News Bureau that, the incident occurred around 1 pm when Khazri Begum was walking on the road.
The vehicle, which was reportedly speeding, hit her and fled the scene. Begum sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Trauma Hospital Pattan by her family members.
However, she succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead by the doctors.–(KNB)
