POLICE WOMEN CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY-2024

Jammu, March 07: On the eve of International Women’s Day, a weeklong programme being organized by IRP 15th Battalion was inaugurated by Sh. M. N. Tiwari,-IPS, IGP Armed/IRP Zone, Jammu in the presence of Ms. Sargun Shukla, Commandant IRP 15th Battalion, Ms. Rashmi Wazir, CO. IRP 12th Bn., Ms. Shaheen Wahid, Dy.CO. 1st . Women Battalion, Jammu and other officers.

On the occasion, a medical camp was organized by this unit wherein PMOs of various Armed/IRP Battalions viz Dr. Shagufta Choudhary, Dr. Rasmeet Kour, Dr. Pawan Kumari, Dr. Saira Parveen, and a team of Doctors of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu conducted health checkup of around 400 females of J&K Police. The weeklong activities will include medical camps of various specialties, financial literacy programmes, psychological and physiological wellbeing camps etc. The Deptt. of Health and Medical Education is collaborating with J&K Police IRP-15th Battalion in supporting the endeavour of ensuring & improving general wellbeing of female officials especially in the week of International Women’s Day.
