Residents of Kandi and neighboring villages Karnah Tehsil are living in fear as reports emerge of a snow leopard freely roaming the area, causing apprehension among locals. The majestic yet elusive creature has been sighted on multiple occasions, sending ripples of concern through the community.

According to eyewitnesses, the snow leopard has been spotted openly wandering the streets and outskirts of Kandi Karnah, instilling fear among residents, especially during the evening hours. This has resulted in a significant disruption of daily activities, with many people reluctant to venture out, even for essential tasks such as attending evening prayers (nimaz).

The presence of the snow leopard has created a palpable sense of unease, prompting calls for immediate action to capture the elusive predator. Concerns for the safety of residents, particularly children and livestock, have intensified, necessitating urgent measures to mitigate potential risks.

Local authorities have been urged to intervene swiftly, implementing strategies to safely capture the snow leopard and relocate it to a suitable habitat away from human settlements. Efforts to raise awareness about coexisting with wildlife and adopting precautionary measures have also been emphasized to alleviate tensions among residents.

As the community grapples with this unprecedented challenge, cooperation between residents and authorities is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of all. Vigilance and proactive measures are imperative to address the situation effectively and restore a sense of security in the affected areas.
