DDC Reasi reviews implementation of HADP

REASI, JANUARY 19: District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan reviewed the implementation of different projects under HADP at a meeting held today here in the Mini Conference Hall, DC office complex Reasi.

DDC Mahajan took detailed review of physical and financial progress made in the implementation of projects under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan- 2023-24.

District Development Commissioner impressed under the officers to expedite the implementation of Agri and allied sector projects to achieve the desired targets at the earliest. He stressed upon the need of working in coordinated and dedicated manner so that the results are visible on grassroots level.

He also enjoined upon the officer to efficiently strategise the proper implementation of farmers welfare schemes under HADP over next five years to achieve the desired aim of upliftment of socio economic conditions of farmers.He stressed for mass awareness of all schemes crafted for farmers through print and electronic media by giving wider publicity and reaching to all farmers at their doorstep.

Earlier, Chief Agriculture Officer, Harbans Singh who is also Nodal Office of HADP presented the overall status of targets, progress, achievements under HADP in respect of Reasi District through Power Point Presentation.

CPO Sunita Kanchan, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, AD Fisheries, AD Sericulture and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
