JAMMU, NOVEMBER 10: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today visited Rajpora area of Marh Block, Akhnoor here and took onspot review of various Jal Jeevan Mission works.

The Advisor held the visit with an aim to gain firsthand insights into the ongoing water supply projects and to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the prestigious Jal Jeevan mission.

During the visit, Advisor Bhatnagar engaged with local officials, engineers, and Pani Samiti members involved in the implementation of JJM. The Advisor held detailed discussions with them focusing on current status of water supply projects, challenges faced, and strategies to expedite the mission’s objectives.

While speaking on the occasion, Advisor Bhatnagar made out that the government is committed to ensure accessibility of safe and clean drinking water to every individual as well as every household and emphasized on the importance of collaborative efforts between government agencies and local communities for smooth implementation of this prestigious mission.

The Advisor conducted on-site inspections of various project sites, examining the quality of work and adherence to project timelines. He encouraged the executing agency to maintain the momentum of achieving the mission’s goals.

Meanwhile, Advisor Bhatnagar also chaired a meeting with senior officers of Jal Shakti department and took stock of progress on ongoing works under JJM in Marh Block.

The meeting was attended by BDC Chairperson, BDC members, PRI representatives, Pani Samiti members, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, SDM and other concerned officers.

Addressing the officers during the meeting, Advisor Bhatnagar said that JJM is a prestigious project of national importance having direct impact on lives of people. He added that the mission aims to ensure water supply through functional household tap connections to all house holds which will promote health, hygiene, and overall well-being especially in rural communities.

The Advisor delved upon the officers to work with sincerity and coordination for ensuring successful implementation of water supply projects under this mission in the area.

He also asked the officers to conduct regular Pani Samiti meetings so that any hindrance in the implementation of mission is rectified timely.

Latet, Advisor Bhatnagar also visited Government Girls High School , Baliyal Rajpura Mandi and held onspot inspection of the institution.

During the inspection, Advisor Bhatnagar engaged with school administrators, faculty, and students to gain firsthand insights into the educational environment.

Interacting with the teachers, Advisor Bhatnagar emphasized on promoting excellence in education by employing new means of teaching and fostering a conducive learning atmosphere for the students.

The Advisor, during the inspection, also interacted with students and sought first hand feedback from them about the learning atmosphere of the institution.
