DDC Chairperson visited Khari area, reviews progress of RDD works

RAMBAN, OCTOBER 14: Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today conducted an extensive tour of Khari of Sub division Ramsoo to inspect various developmental projects being executed in block Khari.

DDC Khari, Gulshan Parveen, DDC Ramsoo, Faiyaz Naik, BDO Khari, Kavita Bindhral, PRIs, and Officials of concerned departments besides general public were present on the occasion.

During the tour, DDC Chairperson inspected Primary Health Centre Trigam and enquired about the stock of healthcare facilities being provided to the patients. She also directed the concerned officers to ensure robust functioning of the health centre and better health services to patients.

Later, DDC Chairperson chaired a meeting with concerned officers and technical staff of Rural Development Department to review the progress about developmental projects being executed in block Khari. She also inspected the progress of various under construction road projects in panchayat Khari.

Discussing various aspects which include execution of development schemes of RDD sector under Capex budget in the district, the Chairperson stressed on execution of works in a transparent and efficient manner so that benefits reach to the common masses in a hassle free manner.

The Chairperson also directed the officers to ensure proper monitoring and timely completion of the RDD schemes like PMAY-G and MGNREGA, etc for taking tangible results at ground level. She also asked the officers to achieve both physical and financial targets within prescribed time.
