JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 30: Medical Superintendent Sarwal Hospital, Dr Vijay Raina joined hands with the leading media house Amar Ujala to organize a Blood Donation Camp under the Ayushman Bhav Campaign 2023. The event took place today at Government Hospital Sarwal, and witnessed the selfless contribution of 10 donors who generously donated their blood to save lives.

The Ayushman Bhav Campaign, aimed at promoting healthcare and wellness, received a significant boost with this collaborative effort between two renowned healthcare institutions and a leading media organization. The event’s primary objective was to encourage voluntary blood donation, raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, and ultimately contribute to the well-being of the community.

The Blood Donation Camp commenced with a ceremonial inauguration ceremony where MS Gandhinagar Hospital, MS Sarwal Hospital and Amar Ujala came together to stress the importance of blood donation in the context of healthcare.

Dr. Vijay Raina, the Medical Superintendent of Sarwal Hospital, expressed his gratitude and stated, “Blood donation is an act of compassion and selflessness.

During the camp, all 10 blood donors were presented with a Letter of Appreciation and a token of gratitude to recognize their exceptional contribution to the cause of blood donation.
