Swachhta Pakhwada: DC leads Swachhata Drives in Educational Institutions of Rajouri

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 30: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today led the ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada initiative by spearheading massive cleanliness drives in the educational institutions.

The drive was conducted in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Boys Higher Secondary School Rajouri, and GMS Mehra Nagrota, underlining the commitment of the administration to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the region.

At Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, the zeal of the participants was worth seeing. Their enthusiasm and dedication to the Swachhata drive set an inspiring example for the entire community.

At Boys Higher Secondary School Rajouri, the Deputy Commissioner was joined by Sultana Kouser, Chief Education Officer, Auqil Nuvaid, DPO, along with enthusiastic students and dedicated faculty members. Similar efforts were mirrored at other locations, where students and faculty members actively participated in the cleanliness drive.

The Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, expressed his appreciation for the strong community involvement and urged everyone to participate wholeheartedly in the upcoming Swachhata drive on October 1st, from 10 AM to 11 AM, following the theme “Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Sath.” He stressed the importance of unity and collective action in achieving cleanliness and sanitation goals.

During the occasions, the Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal also spoke passionately about the significance of cleanliness and sanitation, emphasizing their direct impact on the well-being and health of the community.

The Swachhata Pakhwada initiative continues to gain momentum, with the active involvement of government officials, educational institutions, and the community at large, reaffirming the commitment to building a cleaner and more hygienic environment for all residents of Rajouri.

The District Administration fervently urges all residents to participate wholeheartedly in this noble endeavor. Together, we can transform Rajouri into an exemplar of cleanliness and hygiene that will inspire generations to come.

The success of this campaign ultimately rests in the hands of each citizen, and together, the community can achieve remarkable results in the journey towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.
