As a remarkable finale to the celebrations of 75 years of indian independence Range Srinagar North CRPF marked the culmination of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with a vibrant and enthusiastic bike rally. The event was held on today starting from Badiayari Chowk to Lalit Ghat. The joyous occasion witnessed the active participation of CRPF personnel, civilians, and tourists, all coming together with smiles on their faces, chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vandemataram ”
In another event a spectacular Tiranga rally consisting of CRPF boats and shikaras was also organized by 144 Bn and water wing CRPF in stunning backdrop of Dal Lake, a picturesque jewel in the valley of Srinagar. This rally flagged off by Sh jaidev kesri DIGP CRPF (North Srinagar) . The rally was a testament to the patriotic spirit and love for the nation, with enthusiastic participation from both tourists and civilians, all basking in the joyous atmosphere. The rally took on an even more enchanting aspect as CRPF boats and shikaras, traditional Kashmiri wooden boats, merged together, showcasing their combined beauty in a remarkable display.
On the occasion DIGP of CRPF, SNR North, Shri Jaidev Kesri, shared insightful remarks on the significance of the occasion, highlighting the themes of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” and “Meri Mati Mera Desh,” which commemorate the freedom struggle and the deep connection between the land and its people.
The officers and men of the CRPF’s Srinagar North Range Bn’s, deserved commendation for their tireless efforts and commitment, which ensured the seamless execution of this remarkable program. Their hard work and dedication played a crucial role in making this event a shining example of the indomitable spirit of our nation. This Bike & boat Tiranga rally would undoubtedly be etched in the memories of all those who witnessed the harmonious blend of patriotism, natural beauty, and the spirit of togetherness on the serene waters of Dal Lake.
As the event reached its conclusion, Shri Nadeem Ahmad Samdani, the Commandant of the 144 Battalion CRPF, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the participants , Officers and men of Range Srinagr Norh Bn’s ,Civilians and media person who made the event a resounding success. In a heartwarming gesture, DIGP Shri Jaidev Kesri and Sh. D.K Singh DIG Srinagar Sector HQ presented certificates of appreciation to the shikarawalas, the skilled boatmen who exhibited courage and actively contributed to this memorable moment. The event were attended by the commandants of Srinagar North Range Unit and families of CRPF officers and Men.
