DC Reasi reviews Independence Day arrangements

Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal, today reviewed the arrangements for Independence Day-2023 celebration here at a meeting held in the DC Office complex.

During the meeting, it was decided that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium, where the VIP will unfurl the National Flag.

Threadbare discussion was held with regard to the security arrangements, traffic regulation, seating arrangements, Full Dress Rehearsal, decoration, PAS, Power and water supply, transport arrangements, sanitation, Medicare facilities, Barricading at the venue of the function and other vital issues.

The PDD and Jal Shakti Departments were directed to ensure proper management of power and water including water tankers at the venue. The CMO was asked to make available medical facilities along with staff and ambulances at the venue.

The DC exhorted the officers to complete the preparations well in advance so that national function could be celebrated with traditional fervor.

SSP, Amit Gupta; ADDC, Jyoti Slathia; ADC, Abdual Star; Tehsildar, EO Municipal, Chief Education Officer, CMO, Xen’s PWD/PMGSY, Xen Jal Shakti Department and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
