To review the progress of ongoing Summary Revision of Municipal electoral rolls, District Election Officer Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers of Urban Local Bodies here in his office Chamber.
Deputy District Election Officer, Gurdev Kumar, SDM, Chenani, Parvaiz Naik, all EOs and officials attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DEO exhorted the functionaries to complete the summary Revision including addition of new voters/left out voters and deletion of duplicate voters before the assigned due date. The DEO asked the officers to activate men and machinery and complete the process within the given timeline.
The Dy DEO was asked to submit a report on a daily basis. The officers and Officials associated with the ongoing Municipal Summary Revision were asked to work with dedication and zeal to ensure that the whole exercise is completed within a time bound manner with 100 percent enrolment of eligible voters.
