Deputy Commissioner Rajouri reviews performance of Agriculture & allied departments

Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today reviewed the performance of Agriculture and allied departments including animal husbandry, sheep husbandry, horticulture, and sericulture.

The meeting reviewed achievements under HADP, Artificial insemination programme, MIDH, UT Cepex, Ultra High density apple plantation, and others, with a major emphasis on KCC saturation.

The Deputy Commissioner urged the officials to achieve the targets set under different schemes in a timely and efficient manner, emphasizing the importance of working towards the welfare of the farmers.

The meeting was attended by officers from different departments, who presented a report on the progress made in the agriculture and allied sectors.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed on the need for continued collaboration and coordination among different departments to ensure the successful implementation of the schemes and programs.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to work towards the development of the agriculture and allied sectors in the district, with a focus on increasing the income and standard of living of the farmers.

The agriculture and allied sectors play a crucial role in the economy. The meeting emphasized the need to focus on increasing the productivity and profitability of these sectors, which would not only benefit the farmers but also contribute to the overall development of the district.
