The implementation of of Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme (Under National Trust for the welfare of person with Autism, Cerebral-Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999) was discussed here today at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.
After discussing the scope of the scheme, the DC asked the health department to conduct door to door survey and organise special camps in coordination with the Social Welfare Department to identify the persons suffering with autism, cerebral palsy, multiple disability and intellectual disability.
The meeting was attended by PO, ICDS, DSWO, AD FCS and CA, CMO and members from Muskaan foundation Samba.
