VISIT OF TRI SERVICES ESM TO SRINAGAR

With great sense of pride and as noble gesture, the team of ESM comprising of Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and other ranks from all three services of Armed Forces along with a few families visited Badami Bagh Cantonment on 03 Jul 2023.

The team comprising of 51 personnel from all over India, including three Major General & equivalent officers, headed by Major General RPS Bhadauria, VSM (Retd) are on their way to Kargil to pay homage to fallen comrades of Kargil War. In BB Cantt, the veterans and their families participated in wreath laying organised at War Memorial and visited the well know museum Ibadat-e- Shahadat which depicts the entire history, heritage & culture of Jammu & Kashmir. Ex-servicemen & Veer Naris of Valley were also present for the event and interacted with other Ex-servicemen from all other States. The team leader, Major General RPS Bhadauria, VSM (Retd) interacted with Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, AVSM, SM Chinar Corps and discussed various aspects pertaining to current dynamics of J&K and welfare of ESM in Valley.

The team of ex-servicemen affiliated to Akhil Bhartiya Poorvsa Sainik Seva Parishad (ABSSP) visiting BB Cantt & Kargil is an annual event in celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The visit of team of ex-servicemen & families infused spirit & camaraderie among troops serving in BB Cantt and their gesture speaks volumes of their patriotrism and indicates their heart still beats for the country.
