Approves 49 cases under Jammu Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP)

Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav today chaired the first meeting of District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) for the financial year 2023-24 here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

The DLTFC, after thorough discussion, approved 49 cases under the Jammu Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).

The meeting was attended by GM DIC, Mohd Ashraf; AO, DC Office Imran Ahmed Kichloo; District Officer KVIB, Mohammad Iqbal Batt, Manager JK Bank Grameen Chander Rana, representatives of Cluster Head JK Bank, SBI RSETI, ITI, Polytechnic College, Supervisor KVIB, Shah Mohammad Mir besides other concerned officers.

District Officer , KVIB Kishtwar submitted 61 loan proposals which included all trading and services and manufacturing sectors viz Kiryana and grocery stores, transport, cosmetics, steel fabrication, furniture, preparation of Readymade garments, welding, carpentry, electronics & repair, cutting and tailoring, automobiles, readymade and stationary, etc.

The committee screened and scrutinised all the cases and approved 49 cases for credit linkage through financial institutions after a thorough analysis of the viability of proposed projects and the entrepreneurial skills of the applicants.

The rest of the nine applicants were absent at the time of screening and three applicants were deferred for the next DLTFC meeting.
