The program was graced by the presence of Sh. Rohitashwa, Commandant, and other Officers, SOs , Jawans of 10 Bn SSB Srinagar.The aim of the programme was to popularize Yoga to reduce stress, anxiety and depression, as well as increasing calmness and relaxation among all personnel and increase awareness on benefits of Yoga.
On the occasion, Sh. Rohitashwa, Commandant, 10 Bn SSB addressed all participants and presented his greetings on celebration of 9th International Day of Yoga-2023. He mentioned the importance of Yoga and also highlighted the transformation Yoga can bring in one’s life, especially during these challenging pandemic times. In his speech he summarized the benefits of Yoga in everyday life and highlighted the potential for customization to suit the individual. Enlightened the participants about scientific relevance and importance of Yoga in our life and explained how a Yoga practiced perpetually benefits to reduce stress at work place for a healthier body and mind. He shared his experience & wisdom about Yoga practice. He, along with other participants, actively participated in the exercise session.
The event was marked by presence of hundreds of force personnel who participated in yoga exercise with lot of Zeal & enthusiasm. It is worth mentioning that by the efforts of SSB, Yogic practice is gaining its roots again till the remotest parts of Kashmir.
