TEN DAY’S YOGA CAMP CONCLUDES AT GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE MAGAM

Today, a concluding ceremony of a ten day’s Yoga Camp was organized at Government Degree College Magam on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Today’s event was attended by many Teaching and non-teaching faculty in addition to students of the College with great enthusiasm. The event began with a brief introduction on Yoga Day by Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Hussain Malik.

All the students, teachers and other staff members participated in warm-up activities and practiced both sitting and standing while simultaneously hearing explanations of their significance.

The celebrations of this year’s International Yoga Day at Government Degree College Magam was graced by the participation of Convener Sports Committee Government Degree College Magam Prof. Syed Idrees Ahmad, Programme Officers of NSS Units Dr. Sameer Farooq Parsa and Dr. Bilquees followed by other faculty, staff members and students.

Convener Sports Committee and Head, Department of Commerce, Government Degree College Magam Prof. Syed Idrees Ahmad welcomed the participants to the event and put light on how Yoga plays such an important role in our day to day lifestyle.

The Physical Training Instructor, Department of Physical Education and Sports taught some important physical, mental, and spiritual practices to the participants which would help the participants in improving their health by increasing blood flow and boosting immunity.

The event concluded with vote of thanks presented by Government Degree College Magam Dr. Sameer Farooq Parsa.
