March 11: Ganderbal Police submitted charge sheet in case FIR No 199/2020 of Police Station Ganderbal.
The case pertains to the incident dated 14th September 2020 when Ganderbal Police along with 05RR busted HM module and arrested 03 terrorist associates identified as Arshid Ahmad Khan son of Mohd Altaf Khan resident of Wayil Wudder, Majid Rasool Rather son of Ghulam Rasool Rather and Mohd Aasif Najar son of Abdul Razaq Najar, both residents of Beehama Ganderbal of banned terror outfit HM for hatching criminal conspiracy for terrorist acts, harbouring terrorists and giving support to the proscribed terrorist organisations.
Investigation conducted revealed that the arrested trio had came into contact with a Pak based Kashmiri terrorist namely Fayaz Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Dawood Khan resident of Gutlibagh and were being handled by him from across to take up various terrorist and subversive activities in the district.
After conclusion of investigations, necessary Government sanction was obtained and accordingly chargesheet has been filed before the Competent Court by Ganderbal Police U/s 7/25 IAA, 13, 18, 20, 23, 39, UA(P)A against four accused persons.
