KUPWARA, JUNE 5: District adminstration Kupwara has provided immediate assistance to the  three fire affected families of Kachahama araa of Kupwara where 2 residential houses were gutted in a devastating fire incident on Monday morning.  On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray  a team of District Administration, Kupwara headed by Tehsildar Kralpora Firdous Qadiri  visited Kachama on Monday to provide immediate assistance to the 3  fire affected families whose houses were completely  gutted in a massive fire incident. The team of District Administration  provided immediate interim  assistance in the form Rs 25000/ among the  affected family, besides   3 Kitchen sets, 3 Trupalins, 15 blankets, 6 clothing pairs, 6 beding pairs and other necessary  items. Deputy Commisioner Kupwara has expressed sorrow over the loss of the property and has also expressed sympathy with the affected families and assured the fire suffers of all possible support from administration. The Deputy Commisioner had directed concerned Tehsildar to assess the loss of property and recommend the case for relief under SDRF norms  Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Dr. Sagar  has appealed to the General public to follow all precautionary measures while handling inflammable household items, electric/electronic gadgets, LPG cylinders and other appliances being used for cooking purposes to avoid such fire incidents.
