BUDGAM, MAY 09: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today reviewed the status of PM-Kisan scheme and attestation of mutations thereof, in a meeting held at conference hall Budgam.  On the occasion, the DC directed speedy authentication and uploading of revenue records of PM-Kisan beneficiaries across the district.  In order to ensure clearance of pending cases of genuine beneficiaries, the DC directed to complete them within earliest possible timelines.  He instructed all the non-traceable cases to be verified and list be prepared by the Agriculture department.  Earlier, the DC stressed on speedy verification of beneficiaries and bulk clearance of verification of eligible beneficiaries by banks at an earliest.  He termed the PM- Kissan an important welfare scheme and stressed that benefits of the scheme should reach all eligible and deserving farmers across the district.  The DC also reviewed the progress of e-KYC and directed for completion of its verification at an earliest.  He said linkage of all the cards with their Aadhaar numbers is important.  The meeting was attended by ADDC Budgam, Dr. Akramullah Tak; Chief Agriculture officer Budgam, ACR Budgam, officers and officials from Agriculture, Revenue and other concerned departments.
