February 24: Range Police Headquarters Anantnag under the aegis of civic action programme distributed computers and tracksuits among the specially-abled persons.
The distribution event was inaugurated by DIG SKR Shri Atul Kumar Goel-IPS at RPHQ Anantnag in presence of several members of specially-abled community.
While speaking on the occasion, DIG SKR expressed the hope that the assistance provided by the JKP to the specially-abled persons may help them to become self-reliant.
The main aim of such programmes is to bridge the gap between police and public & to strengthen the police-public relationship, besides providing helping hand and support to the specially-abled persons.
The participants have expressed their gratitude for this gesture by J&K Police.
