POONCH, JANUARY 19: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting here in the conference hall of DC Office to review the implementation of different components of SAMAGRA Shiksha. The meeting was attended by Joint Director School Education Department Poonch-Rajouri, Mohammad Ashraf; Chief Planning Officer, Maqsood Ahmed; Chief Education Officer, Bishamber Dass, DEPO, Narinder Mohan Suri; Executive Engineer Constt. Div. 4th SAMAGRA Shiksha, Sanjeev Kumar; AEE PWD Div. Poonch, Zonal Education Officer (All), AE Samagra Shiksha JE of PWD Div. Poonch as well as Construction Div. 4th. The Joint Director School Education Department Poonch-Rajouri gave a Power Point Presentation on SAMAGRA Shiksha and briefed about the progress made under different construction/Non-construction components. The District Dev. Commissioner Poonch issued directions for completion of all approved works within the stipulated time frame and utilization of allocated funds under different components at an earliest. The District Development Commissioner directed Executive Engineer PWD to immediately sort out the matter regarding held up buildings under erstwhile RMSA and submit a report stating the actual physical financial status along with approved cost, allotted cost, expenditure, date of allotment, name of contractor alongwith timeline of completion. He was further directed to provide the pending items / material of Girls Hostel Sheesh Mahal Poonch. It was also decided in the meeting that the Executive Engineer Constt. Div. 4th SAMGRA Shiksha shall furnish the detailed report to the Chief Education officer regarding all works where land is not available and provide actual physical and financial status under all works being executed by the Construction Div. 4th. The Deputy Commissioner further directed that the headquarters for JEEs of construction Division 4th be nominated at suitable places where they mark their attendance. The Executive Engineer Div 4th was also directed to put the approved works for tenders and ensure completion of the same at an earliest. The DDC issued directions to all the ZEOs to work with dedication and ensure implementation of all government schemes in their respective zones. He further directed the ZEOs to share the details of schools where land is not available.
