Kathmandu:A Kathmandu-bound plane carrying about 72 persons crashed in Nepal’s Pokhara this morning, Yeti Airlines said. According to Local news reports in Nepal at least 30 dead bodies have been recovered from the wreckage as of now. There were 68 passengers and four crew members on board the plane that crashed between the old and new airports in the city, located in central Nepal. “We don’t know right now if there are survivors,” the airline’s spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula told news agency AFP. The plant caught fire as it crashed. Massive search and rescue operations have been launched in the area to find the survivors, if any and the dead bodies in the plane crash. Meanwhile, the Government has also pushed workers to put off the fire. The operations were going on when this report was being filed.
