The Rally marked the start of week-long celebrations under Swachhta Pakhwada, which is Ministry of Road Transport and Highways   concept to make Road Safety Activities concern of everyone or everyone’s business.

A large number of transporters, drivers, and officials took part in the rally, which started from Mini Secretariat. The participating drivers were asked to be messengers for the Safe Roads initiative by following all road safety norms.

DC emphasized on the need to disseminate information about the gravity of road accidents.

In view of the deaths occurring due to rash, over speeding, negligent and unsafe driving, he asked all stakeholders to spearhead a massive orientation and awareness on the issue.
