The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of the District Task Force Committee at mini-secretariat here regarding the Elimination of Measles & Rubella.

During the course of the meeting issues with regard to planning, reporting, communication, elimination strategies and other key aspects of the MR vaccination campaign in the district were discussed threadbare.

 

The Dy- Chief Medical Officer informed the meeting that in order to ensure proper implementation of the vaccination campaign, the district level trainers have already received training at the UT level.

 

Directions were given to start house to house survey and to line list any missed children so as to reduce the dropout rate to zero.

 

Intersectoral coordination and to organise Block task force meetings to percolate down the message to the grass roots level was stressed up on.

ACR, CPO, Dy-CMO, DIO, DHO, DSWO, BMOs and other officers attended the meeting.
