DODA, OCTOBER 17: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today visited Green Model Higher Secondary School, where he interacted with students and staff of the Institution.

The DDC was welcomed by the students and school staff. The programme entailed a welcome speech by the Principal of the School, O.P Chandail.

O.P Chandail, abridged the chief guest with the history, objective and vision of the school. The Principal informed him that the strength of the school has reached 2100 this year.

The DC lauded the discipline and the contribution of the school in promoting quality education in the district. He also encouraged the students to pave their own path in the world with a fist of positivity and dutiful citizenship. He interacted with the students and firmly established the importance of innovation in today’s world. The DC Doda also emphasised on the importance of cleanliness.

He inspected the class rooms of the school and appreciated the efforts of school management for promoting the sports among the students and participating in UT and national level competitions.

 The sports team of the school also displayed their proficiency in games like Cricket, Archery, Chess amongst many others.
