BARAMULLA, AUGUST 08: In connection with 9th Muharram-ul-Haram being observed across the district, 52 RR in collaboration with District Administration and Intezamia Imam-Bara Delina today organised a blood donation camp at Community Health Centre (CHC) Delina, here.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar.

During the Camp, participants including officials, volunteers and local people volunteered to donate blood.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC urged people to donate blood voluntarily as it is a great service to humanity and helps in saving precious lives. She said that our single drop of blood can save precious lives and we should participate in such programmes for safeguarding humanity.

Congratulating stakeholders for donating blood for the noble cause, the DC urged people to come forward for blood donation and said that the Administration highly recognizes and appreciates the selfless service of the blood donors for the entire society.

Meanwhile, the DC accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Block Medical Officer Baramulla and others also visited Imam-Bara Delina where she took stock of various arrangements put in place for conducting mourning processions smoothly in the area.

She also interacted with the local people during which people hailed the District Administration for providing every possible support for smooth observance of the Muharram-ul-Haram.
